Hello, awesome CMS families!!
I am sure that you have already heard this from your child, but WE HAD AN AMAZING START TO THE SCHOOL YEAR!! It was awesome to see how engaged the children were in each classroom on the very first day!! Kids and teachers were dancing, there was a lot of community building, lunch/electives ran smoothly, and there were a loooooot of happy smiles leaving our building this afternoon. What a joy it is to have your children learning and growing with us this year - thank you for sending us such awesome kids!!
Arrival reminders
As a reminder, the school building will open daily for breakfast at 8:05am. As you move through the car line, please remain in your vehicle and pull forward as far as you can. Please remember that the car line exits around the side of the building onto 9th Street. Please follow the directions of all school staff so that we can maintain student and staff safety.
Dismissal reminders
As the car line moves forward, we will direct your child to you. Again, the car line exits around the side of the building onto 9th Street. Please follow the directions of all school staff so that we can maintain student and staff safety.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact your child’s teachers, the grade level counselor (Dr. Jacobson for 6th, Mr. U for 7th, and Ms. King for 8th), the grade level administrator (Mr. Resnick for 6th, Dr. Gentry for 7th, and Ms. Kim Thompson for 8th), or me.
